CHANDRAGUPTA and ASHOKA (part-2)

Hi amigos,                                                                                                                                                                         Me back wit part 2 . Well part 2 z nt lengthy this z a small story of chandragupta nd ashoka. chandragupta's son bindusara had 2 sons ashoka nd susima. Ashoka was very much inspired by his grandfather nd followed him everywhere. The day ashoka's father bindusara was crowned as king ashoka saw his grandfather walking through the holy sindhu river holding his mighty sword  which might have took hundreds of lives.                                                                                               Confused little Ashoka went near his grandfather nd asked him the reason for his behaviour . Then chandraguptha told Ashoka tht it might b a mighty sword for him bt for chandragupta its just a piece ofcopper metal. He also told Ashoka tht he never wanted ashoka or his father 2 kill enemies bcoz  none of them knw better than him abt killing a human. Bowing his head in sorrow he had thrown the sword into the river nd told ashoka never to go aft the sword bcoz it knws only to take lives.                                                                                                                                                  Aft chandragupta  went away little ashoka caught the sword nd hid tht under a rock.  When bindusara crowded susima as the king then he took the sword for fighting aganist his people nd every one bt aft kalinga war Ashoka realised his grandfather's intensions nd had threw the sword into sindhu river standing in sme situation as his grandfather nd in sme position as his grandfather.                                                                                                                                                                                  Well may be directly or indirectly all the members of the family  of chandragupta had followed his intensions. His son bindusara was called as   AJATHASETRU (man wit no enemies).His grandson Ashoka was known for spreading buddhism. His gr8 grandson Mahindra (son of ashoka) was known for spreading nd preaching abt peace nd divinity all around the world.                                                                                                                                                                    As i told uin part-1 tht chandragupta died at the age of 42 bt i didnt tell u hw. He died following a jain custom . Well in tht custom u must tie ur  mouth  wit a white cloth nd ur kept in starvation until god cals u i.e death. Holy saints or people who think they hav acheived evry thing perform this ritual bt god knws why chandragupta felt  tht he hav 2 perform theritual when he z just 42??????????????????????                           

chandragupta maurya(348BCE-298BCE)

Hi amigos,                                                                                                                                                                               chandragupta was the ancient nd  greatest king of india. He was the  founder of maurya empire. He was the father of bindusara nd grandfather of ashoka. chandragupta's life was included wit adventures. chandragupta was an illgetimate child of nandha prince nd a maid mura .                              After birth of of chandragupta his mother moved to a Gorakhpur Uttar pradesh . As his mother was a Jain he was send to a JAINS school. chandragupta was a loyal nd truthful person from childhood.                                                                                                                                                                         From the source i read chandraguptha was nearly 13yrs or 14yrs old when his mother passed away telling him abt  identity of his father. poor chandragupta aft cremating his mother  sat crying in the graveyard when a sight caught his eye, he saw a man who looked like a priest nd scholar passing by the grave yard. when a small spine stuck to his leg he removed the spine burned it mixed it in water and drunk it. when chandragupta asked the man he told the his name was chanikya  nd  he was a priest   he did tht because when the spine stuck to his leg its was his enemy if removed nd threw the spine somewere sorrounding it will b fellow human being's enemy so he wanted to end complete gain of his enemy thtswhy he burned nd drank it.                                                                                                                                                                  well the mighty chanikya saw the undefeatable spirit in chandragupta nd asked his story.  Aft lessoning chandraguptha's story chanikya felt tht chandragupta was the key to end creul nanda empire. yes ,  fare words to describe chanikya are he was a critic at tht time . He was brave nd bold . He used to analyse  each nd every king in those days. If you really wanna knw  read RAJADARMA written by him. From then chanikya played an important role in creating chandragupta maurya the gr8.                                                                                                                                     when chandragupta was just 16 or 18yrs old he defeated nanda kings nd started MAURYA empire. The victory of chandra gupta  spread like a rapid fire shacking whole India. He established rule throught out southAsia when he was only 19yrs. He defeated SELECUS NICATOR  when he was only 20. At tht time ALEXANDER was in invasion in India. Alexander defeated king Porus or purushothama  nd heard abt young chandragupta  nd invaded his regein .                  Courageous chandragupta defeated Alexander nd even tried to kill him but chanikya signed nt to kill Alexander when chandraguptha asked chanikya abt it he told him if he killed alexander may they say tht this was chandragupta who killed gr8 alexander bt if he leave him thy may Say this was chandragupta who showed his kindness even wit enemies. Aft his defeat alexander advised selecus to marry his daughter Helen wit chandraguptha when selecus asked alexander's intensions  he told tht may alexander's son  may not be Alexander bt chandragupta'sson wil b chandragupta nd tht was proved true.                                                                                                                           Talking abt chandragupta may take 1000pages my intension to write this passage was nt forget chandragupta. IF u ask me he was gr8 warrior of altime nd he wil be. chandragupta  died at shravanabalgola at age 42 .THERE r mny stories abt chandragupta which i wil share in part 2.
